Chemical Peels

Who is it for?

Aging clients,  and clients whose main concern is pigmentation.

How does it work?

Glycolic Acid is the most active and beneficial of the AHA's in skin care. It is the only AHA which is able to penetrate through the cell walls by virtue of its small molecular size. Once inside the cell, it will trigger new formation of collagen and also attacks over producing melanocytes (how skin gets its pigment) killing them off, and in result, producing a more even tone. Glycolic Acid also affects the newly forming keratin cells at the bottom of the epidermis causing the bulk of the top layer of skin to lift off and separate from the underlying healthy skin. This gives the skin a much smoother look and feel.

Why Glycolic?

Glycolic is the smallest molecular acid when it comes to peels, therefore usually yields the best results because of the depth of penetration.

Who is it for?

Dry, pigmented skin.

How does it work?

The Lactic acid is a natural humectant which occurs naturally in the skin, and because of this it is able to pull moisture from the air and hold it in the skin. The Lactic acid is less irritating and more moisturizing than most other peels

Why Lactic?

If you have sentitive or overly dry skin other peels may be too harsh for your compromised skin. Lactic is a great alternative for such clients.

Who is it for?

It's a safe, effective treatment for mild acne, oily skin, textural changes and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in people of most skin types.
